Party Hire Information

Please note, party hire bookings cannot be made online.  Please follow these steps to make a Party Hire booking: 

1. Please contact us via our contact form or email us at info@saffyandmay.com.au with the list of items you are interested in booking.

2. We will then confirm availability and email you an invoice and our Terms and Conditions of hire form.

3. A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings as well as a fully completed Terms and Conditions of hire form. You will be given 5 days to pay the deposit. This will keep your booking secured. Final payment for hire packages and items is due on, or prior to, the day of pickup/delivery.

Security Bond

 A fully refundable Security Bond is required with all bookings. The bond is calculated depending on the value of items hired.  Your bond will be returned to you within 3 days of all hired goods being returned in the same condition as was hired out to the client minus any reasonable ware and tear.  The bond is refunded into your nominated bank or PayPal account as specified on our Terms and Conditions of hire form.

We accept payment by direct bank transfer, and PayPal.

Collection/Delivery

Pick up is available Friday between 9am-2pm or by appointment.

All hired items are to be returned on Monday by appoinment, unless previously arranged.  Should you wish to extend the rental period, please inform us before expiry date. 

A late fee may be charged if equipment/items are not returned within the agreed timeframe.  The late fee is calculated at 10% of the total hire cost per day.  It will be deducted from the bond paid.

Pick up of items is from Thornlands, Brisbane Bayside.

Delivery and collection can be arranged for:

Free – within 10km from Thornlands

$50 – Over 10 km and within 20 km from Thornlands

$50 + $1 per km over 20 km from Thornlands

No washing or cleaning of the hired goods is required when returning.

Cancellation

No cancellation fee is charged if booking is cancelled more the 72 hours before pickup. A Cancellation fee (25% of the hire cost) applies if booking is cancelled less than 48 hours before pickup.

Loss or Damage

We may deduct an amount from the bond to cover the costs of any expense arising from the need to repair or replace party equipment damaged by the hirer negligence or use of equipment.
